MODEL LINKING APPROACH FOR PROCESS ANALYSIS OF SECOND GENERATION CCS PROCESSES

The author is a PhD candidate at the Department of Energy and Process Engineering at NTNU. His research deals with techno-economic assessment of pre-combustion capture method for natural gas based power plants. His PhD is a part of a EU FP7 project NanoSim which aims at developing an open source platform to connect models ranging from atomistic to plant scale, to help accelerate the design of second generation CO2 capture processes.
