Process synthesis and equipment design of a solid handling section for ammonia based post-combustion CO2 capture processes

Federico Milella

ETH Zürich

Federico Milella received his master degree in Chemical & Process Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna in 2011. After completion of his degree he joined the Oil&Gas company Eni for almost three years serving as a process engineer involved in the design of synthetic elastomers production plants. He is currently PhD candidate at ETH Zurich in prof. Marco Mazzotti group since September 2014. His research focuses on crystallization and CCS, in particular on the design and optimization of ammonia-based absorption processes for post-combustion CO2 capture.
