Jan Hrdlicka is an associate professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at CTU in Prague, Czech Republic. He graduated MSc. level from University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague in 2003 and obtained his Ph.D. at the same institution in 2007. Since 2007, he has been appointed to the Department of Energy Engineering of FME CTU in Prague. His research includes fluidized bed combustion, CCS technologies and renewable energy sources. He runs the laboratory for research of oxyfuel fluidized bed combustion.
