Low CO2 hydrogen production by thermal decomposition of methane in a regenerative heat exchanger reactor
Tiina Keipi
Tampere University of Technology
PhD Candidate Tiina Keipi from the Tampere University of Technology in Finland has specialized in thermochemical conversion processes, energy production and power plants. In her PhD thesis, Keipi studies a technology that enables hydrogen production from natural gas with low CO2 emissions. This study combines experimental research, reaction and reactor modeling as well as techno-economic assessment.
