Dr. Xiaobo Luo has 16 years experience in Process/Energy Systems Engineering & Carbon Capture crossing engineering/manufacturing/researching sectors. He is a research fellow at The University of Sheffield from 2016. Before that, he worked in University of Hull as a research associate  for several research projects funded by NERC, EU-CHINA MOST and DECC from 2013. His industry experience includes lead process engineer in BP from 2009 to 2013 and process engineer/project manager in National Research Engineering Center of Distillation Technology (China) from 2001 to 2009. He is a chartered engineer in IChemE and a senior member of AIChE.
