Dynamics of CO2 stream composition in CCS clusters and its implications for CO2 quality specifications

Dr. Heike Rütters is an analytical and environmental chemist and holds a Ph.D. in Organic Geochemistry. She joined the German Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR) in 2009. At BGR, she is coordinating their CO2 storage-related research activities. She has been involved in several national and European CCS research projects. Her main research interest is on potential impacts of impurities along the entire CCS chain. Currently she is the coordinator of the German nationally funded project ‘CLUSTER’.
