This pop-up talk will try to answer the question of what kind of TVET/TVSD system is ideally suited to a context that is unlikely to be 'job-creating'. What sustainable future is being envisaged and how do we respond as a TVET/TVSD community. Surely it requires us to turn on its head current notions of the premises and promises of the system as currently crafted. Indeed, it might well imply some re-visioning of the entire education and training system.
