Working method:
Topic introduction will be made by two expert presentation giving different views of the theme. After the introductions the discussion will continue in small groups which are given different topics to discuss. The experts giving introduction to the topic will be part of the workshop discussion. After the 25 minutes small group discussion the topics are summarized by the moderators (15 minutes). At the end there will be 15 minutes common discussion on the issues pointed out and other related general issues.

Workshop ambition:
Review of the recent development on acid sulfide soil management and guidelines especially Finland and Sweden. Ambition of the workshop is to share best practices and deepen the co-operation betweed different countries on acid sulfate soil management guidelines, research and handling.
