Corey Duberstein

Pacific Northwest National Laboratory

Corey is a research scientist specializing in study of ecology. He has been involved in research assessing the impact of human development on the natural world by designing and conducting original field research projects as well as compiling existing data and information into management guidance. Corey has progressive experience leading, designing, and managing ecological field research that included development of research agenda and protocols, analyzing data, drafting reports, advising staff and students, and managing seasonal field crews. He also provided facilitated client needs to meet the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requirements by drafting guidance, assessments, and management plans. He serves as a Subject Matter Expert within multi-disciplinary teams to author and publish large Environmental Impact Statements. Prior to employment at PNNL Corey conducted field habitat assessment of ruffed grouse, mule deer, spotted owls, and Merriam's shrews for various State and Federal agencies.
