Randy WilgisRandy Wilgis serves as RES Chief Solutions Officer. He leads company efforts to develop solutions for complex mitigation challenges. In South Carolina, Mr. Wilgis led the development of the Carolina Heelsplitter Mitigation Bank and the Waccamaw Mitigation Bank, both precedent-setting projects for the region, along with overseeing multiple turnkey mitigation projects for major economic development initiatives in the area. In addition to his company responsibilities, Mr. Wilgis is a past President of the National Mitigation Banking Association, continues to serve on the Board and acts a mentor to the Association’s Species Committee. Past board positions include being the Founding Board Chair of the South Carolina Calvert Academy, a virtual public charter school serving the needs of over 300 elementary school children. Mr. Wilgis also speaks at a multitude of industry events, and is an instructor for the Conservation Leadership Network.Formerly, Mr. Wilgis was president of EBX, joining RES with the merger in 2014. He was earlier a Senior Vice President with TESSCO Technologies, where he founded three service businesses with combined annual revenues of over $250 million in 2004. Mr. Wilgis received his BSE from the Duke University School of Engineering, and MBA from the University of Virginia-Darden School of Business.
