Supported gold based bimetallic nanoparticles catalyzed oxidation and C-C coupling reactions

Redouane Bachir

university of Tlemcen

Redouane BACHIR is a Professor of chemistry at the University of Tlemcen Algeria. He was a head of the Laboratory of catalysis and synthesis in organic chemistry from 2008 to 2016. Actually, he is still a member of this laboratory as head of the research group of catalysis by metals. His researches concern the development of heterogeneous catalysts based on nano metallic particles supported on different oxides. These catalysts are used in oxidation reactions, C-C coupling reactions and biomass conversion.

Abstract

Since Haruta et al.[1] have shown that gold nanoparticles have catalytic activity for CO oxidation at very low temperature, a lot of research groups were interested in the preparation of new catalysts based on supported metal... [ view full abstract ]
