Stabilization of silver nanoparticles with dyes for optical limiting

Cordula Hege

French-German Research Institute of Saint-Louis - ISL

Cordula Hege studied chemistry at the University of Würzburg and at the University of Karlsruhe (KIT). From 2009 until 2016 she worked at the Fraunhofer IOSB in the field of optical limiting. She worked on her PhD thesis from 2010 until 2016 at the Freiburg Institute for Advanced studies (FRIAS) in the field of tissue engineering. Now she works at the french-german research instiute Saint-Louis (ISL) again related to optical limiting.

Abstract

Lasers are getting more and more common, so also the risk for injury of the eyes or sensor due to laser radiation increases. Optical limiting is a method, which one can use to protect them. To use the method one can make... [ view full abstract ]
