Alteration of temoporfin pharmacokinetics by β-cyclodextrin derivatives

Igor Yankovsky

Department of Biophysics, Belarussian State University

Dr. Igor Yankovsky is a Scientist in the laboratory of Biophysics and Biotechnology at the Physical Department of Belarusian State University. Last year he successfully defended his thesis “Evaluation of photodynamic activity of chlorin type photosensitizers with β-cyclodextrin nanocarriers” at the University of Lorraine (France) in the field of Photodynamic Therapy and Diagnostics.

Abstract

Introduction. The use of nanoscale delivery systems is the most promising way to improve the properties of new and already existing drugs. Due to their unique structure and properties β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) derivatives can be... [ view full abstract ]
