Dra. Irene García awarded her Ph D. in 2010 which was carried out in IETcc-CSIC about the development and characterization of eco-efficient cements obtained from tile wastes. From 2010 to the present she works in the CENIM-CSIC in the Primary Metallurgy and Recycling Department. Her research is focused on the recycle and valorization of sub-product and industrial wastes. And the recovery or elimination of toxic and valuable element from liquid effluents by advanced technologies. She has coauthored of 2 book chapters, over 39 papers in international peer-reviewed journals and 1 patent. She has participated in 30 international congresses.
