Victor N. Ferreira was born in São João del Rei, Minas Gerais. He received the B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering in Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais. Since 2014 he has been working towards his M.S. degree in Power Electronics in Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. He worked for three years with research and development in power electronics at PWP lab. Today he is an assistant researcher at the lab Tesla Power Engineering. His main research interests include Reliability and Fault Detection, Multilevel Power Converters and Power Semiconductor Devices.
