Ms Haest studied forensics, criminology and law at Maastricht University. She implemented forensic radiology for the Dutch National Police, primarily for criminal investigations but also for crash investigations. Currently she is working at Unit  Forensic Radiology of the Department of Radiology of the Maastricht University Medical Center. Her research topics are 3D crime scene modeling and the use of radiology in criminal and crash scene investigations.
