The Chennai floods that took place in December, 2015 was a result of a almost 100 year record rainfall for November of that year and unplanned urbanization in the city. The study will analyze GIS maps for 3rd December, 2015 when Chennai was flooded at it's peak. The results would present flooded and water-logged areas from credible international and Indian sources This would be correlated to diarrheal diseases in Chennai's 200 wards on day 0,7,14,21 and 28. The pattern of outbreaks would be assessed. Outlier analysis for selected districts would be presented with brief case studies.
