Sustainable development should be considered as one of the most important social value in modern society. Many of the schools around the globe has introduced sustainable development in syllabus. Some of the schools incorporate the idea of sustainability inside the building structure. Hong Kong Shue Yan University  campus’s new Research Complex, opened in 2017, has incorporated the idea of sustainability in design and operation stage. In this study, we provide a case study of the new research complex and investigate the students’ perception on sustainable development with regard to economic, Social and environment.
