Paulo André Gonçalves

Technical University of Denmark,

Paulo André D. Gonçalves is currently a PhD student at the Department of Photonics Engineering and Center for Nanostructured Graphene, Technical University of Denmark (Denmark). He is also a guest PhD at the University of Southern Denmark. Lately, he has been conducting research on the nanophotonics of graphene and related 2D materials in engineered nanostructures. Besides having several publications in prestigious peer-reviewed journals, he is also first author of a textbook on graphene plasmonics (entitled "An Introduction to Graphene Plasmonics", recently published by World Scientific). He holds a MSc in Theoretical Physics from the University of Porto (Portugal).

Abstract

Introduction: Plasmon coupling and hybridization in complex nanostructures constitutes a fertile playground for controlling light at the nanoscale. Here, we present a semi-analytical model to describe the emergence of hybrid... [ view full abstract ]
