Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, Genova

I have obtained my Master degree in Photonics (Course Highlights: Classical and Quantum mechanics, Optics and general Photonics, Biophotonics, Nanophotonics, Laser physics, Optoelectronics, Spectroscopy, Quantum Optics and Nonlinear Optics). My master thesis involved fabrication and study of plasmonic dichroism in noble metals. Currently I am a doctoral student in GrapheneLabs, IIT and Department of Physics, University of Genova, Italy. My current research project focuses on study of electronic, optical and plasmonic properties in graphene, Gold and hybrid nanostructures. My areas of interests includes plasmonics, nanophotonics, optoelectronics, graphene and other 2D materials, nanotechnology and nanofabrication.

Abstract

Deterministic fractals [1] are self-similar objects generated by geometrical rules having non-integer dimensionality and exhibiting non-discrete Fourier spectra [2]. The multi-scale property of fractals can be exploited to... [ view full abstract ]
