Spatial low-pass, band-pass, band-stop filtering of incident electromagnetic waves in angle domain at different frequencies in the same photonic crystal structure is studied. The dispersion of Floquet-Bloch modes and rhe shape and locations of the EFCs in the first Brilliouin zone dictate the type of spatial filtering. Varying the ratio of rod diameter to lattice constant enables flexibility in the design of the desired spatial filter.
