Lauren Prestileo oversees digital content strategy, production, and distribution for the critically acclaimed and award-winning PBS history series, AMERICAN EXPERIENCE. Prior to her role as Managing Editor, Lauren served as the Series Producer, overseeing the flow of the series’ content from television to multi-platform engagement campaigns. She led theatrical distribution for the series, shepherding the theatrical release of the Academy Award-nominated documentary Last Days in Vietnam and more recently, Command and Control. She joined the AMERICAN EXPERIENCE staff in 2004 as a publicist for the series. She went on to serve as Project Manager and Series Manager, overseeing all aspects of the community engagement campaigns for the landmark series We Shall Remain, and for the 2011 Emmy Award-winning documentary Freedom Riders. In her work for the series, she has created high-profile partnerships with organizations such as the Smithsonian Museum of American History and the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. She recently served as an associate producer for the Emmy Award-winning AMERICAN EXPERIENCE film JFK. Prior to her tenure in public television, Lauren worked in public affairs in Washington, DC, specializing in public relations and grassroots organizing.

Cheraine Stanford

Cheraine Stanford is the Director of Content Strategy at WPSU, responsible for developing the strategy for the station's original productions across digital, radio and television. She is the Vice-Chair of the PBS Digital Media Advisory Council and was a 2016 Next Generation Leadership Senior Editorial Fellow embedded with the science series NOVA. Stanford is also a moderator, narrator, radio and TV host. For many years, Stanford was a journalist, producer, director and writer with a career spanning print, web, TV and independent film. She previously worked at WETA-TV on Washington Week With Gwen Ifill and at Maysles Films in New York. Her work has garnered a Mid-Atlantic Emmy, a Cine Golden Eagle and a Peabody Award. Her productions include the multi-platform projects Women in Science Profiles (WisciFiles) and Water Blues - Green Solutions, the television documentaries Holding History and As Long As We Dance, the web series Finding Your Roots: The Seedlings and The Geospatial Revolution and the multimedia project African American Chronicles. Stanford holds a B.A. from Duke University and an M.F.A. from Temple University.

Linda Wei

Nashville Public Television

Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Linda Wei began working in public television at Louisiana Public Broadcasting in 1996 and has been with Nashville Public Television since 2003. She currently serves as NPT’s director of digital strategies, is the executive producer and host of the ongoing series NPT Arts Break, and is producer of the Emmy Award-winning interstitial literary series, A Word on Words. Additional credits include creator and producer of ArtQuest, which was awarded Midsouth Regional Emmys in 2015 and 2014 for Best Children’s Program. Linda is chair for the PBS Digital Media Advisory Council. In 2016, she was selected as a Next Generation Leadership Senior Editorial Fellow where she embedded with PBS’ signature investigative series, FRONTLINE.
