Sloan is Director of Multiplatform Marketing at PBS, where she manages the strategy, execution, and station communication of marketing campaigns for priority programs and initiatives that have included Ken Burn’s The Vietnam War and Downton Abbey on Masterpiece. She is a graduate of University of Virginia and Virginia Commonwealth University’s Brandcenter Master’s program.
Lina Blanco
KQED
As the Social Media Specialist for KQED Arts, Lina develops and implements strategies for audience growth and engagement across a variety of social media platforms. In her short time at KQED, she has launched multiple social marketing campaigns including the station’s flagship Women to Watch series. She brings with her six years of social marketing and digital storytelling experience within the Arts, and holds her BA in Ethnic Studies from Mills College.
Lisa Bralts
Illinois Public Media
Lisa Bralts is the Director of Content and Strategic Communications at Illinois Public Media in Urbana, IL, where her desire to create deeply cohesive and collaborative relationships between content development, content production, marketing and communications, digital, and broadcast teams infuses her day-to-day work. She currently participates as a member of the PBS MAC group. Past creative work includes a podcast and webseries about the intersection of neighborhoods, DIY, arts, and food called Backyard Industry, and a documentary about Roger Ebert’s Film Festival (held every April in Urbana, IL!), both of which won numerous Telly Awards. Lisa is a graduate of Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Jackie Bruleigh
WGBH
Jackie is the Digital Marketing Manager at WGBH, where she oversees the WGBH social media presence and works with the digital content team to create and promote exciting, engaging and innovative web content. Her favorite projects at WGBH have been a video series on the Boston Marathon (one of which won a New England Emmy), a Facebook Live based pledge drive, and an email initiative and virtual discussion group supporting Ken Burns’ The Vietnam War. She is a graduate of Yale College and the Yale School of Public Health.
Lindsay Rassmann
NJTV News
Lindsay Rassmann is a digital associate producer at NJTV News where she’s responsible for creating and overseeing digital production. Her other responsibilities include updating the NJTV News website daily and helping manage interns. She graduated from Montclair State University with a degree in broadcasting.
Ashley Urdang
KQED
As the Digital Audiences and Social Media Associate with KQED, Ashley Urdang is responsible for prioritizing and developing engaging, digital content for multiple social media platforms. In her short time at KQED, she has led her station’s efforts to make the leap into a Strategic Influencer Outreach program to acquire brand advocates and new audiences to grow their social media following. She received a B.S. focused in Business Administration with a major in Marketing at the University of Arizona, and has three years of professional experience in the Social Media Marketing industry.
Carl Zornes
Georgia Public Broadcasting
Carl is the Director of Digital Media at Georgia Public Broadcasting, overseeing the strategy, development and maintenance of GPB’s digital products, including websites, smartphone and tablet apps, smarthome skills, and more. He is a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication and has been with the station for nearly 10 years.
