Tim Bischoff

KET

As Chief Technology Officer, Tim Bischoff leads broadcast and digital strategy for KET, the Kentucky Network.In this role, Tim guides the evolution and integration of KET’s broadcast and digital platforms to help deliver excellent user experiences and provide greater organizational impact.Tim has 20 years of experience in the television industry, having served in digital and marketing leadership roles, as an executive producer and a producer/director. His recent accomplishments include the KET Legislative Coverage App and the transformation of KET’s general audience and education websites, as well as leading the expansion of CRM strategy, over-the-top distribution, and digital partnerships.A graduate of Western Kentucky University, with a B.A. in Broadcasting, Tim was recently the chair of the PBS Digital Media Advisory Council and served on the PBS ‘Membership Video On Demand’ task force that helped to launch Passport.

Sara Robertson

KLRU-TV

Sara Robertson has an extensive background in production for broadcast and the web. As Senior Vice President for Production and Technology at KLRU-TV, Sara is responsible for strategic planning and execution of station production and engineering infrastructure. In her tenure, she has helped turn KLRU into Texas' biggest producing PBS station. Before coming to public media, Sara worked in broadcast news.

Melissa Major

WNET/Thirteen

Melissa joined WNET’s Interactive Engagement Group in August 2016. As the team’s Digital Product Specialist, she manages website relaunches and updates, oversees department website QA, and focuses on user experience. She recently facilitated the implementation of WLIW21 Passport and is a member of WNET’s cross-departmental “Passport Taskforce.” Melissa previously managed and produced content for the Great Performances website. Before WNET, Melissa worked at Random House Children’s Books, where she strategized and ran digital marketing campaigns for everything from board books to young adult novels. She’s also worked on PBSLearningMedia.org as part of both the WNET and PBS Education departments.
