Tim Mangini has been producing television and film projects large and small for over 39 years. Prior to heading up the WGBH Production Group he worked for eighteen years directing the production and post-production of over 350 FRONTLINE documentaries. Before joining FRONTLINE Mr. Mangini worked domestically and internationally in the film, television, and multimedia industries as a director, producer, cinematographer and editor. After beginning his career at Hannah-Barbera as a cartoon-character voice editor he worked for such clients as NASA, National Public Radio, Raytheon and MCI. Later, he worked on an award-winning team as a motion picture sound editor and sound effects recordist. His list of film credits include: "Pennies From Heaven," "Under Fire," “Poltergeist,” "48 Hrs," "Gremlins," "2010: The Year We Make Contact," "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home," and the IMAX film "Behold Hawaii."
