KQED

Carly is the Senior Social Media Strategist at KQED, with over a decade’s experience in digital content and communication. At KQED, she acts as a central point of leadership, advocacy and guidance for social media within the organization, shaping KQED’s voice across diverse content verticals and properties. She heads up a cross-departmental team of social media specialists to engage digital audiences and develop new ones, working on everything from content collaborations and engagement projects to podcast launches and optimizing content for the social space. She is also a writer/producer for KQED.org, and is the co-host of KQED’s pop culture podcast The Cooler.

Taylor Shore

Iowa Public Television

Taylor joined Iowa Public Television (IPTV) in 2015 in the station’s newly created role of digital content manager. Her time at IPTV is divided among digital marketing and advertising, online content production and strategy development, and overseeing the development of the station’s online platforms. She spends her days experimenting on social media, talking about the user experience, and diving into analytics. Before working in public media, she worked in digital communications and development for several organizations and satisfied her love of words through positions at area newspapers and literary magazines. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Northern Iowa and a master’s in Rhetoric, Composition, and Professional Communication from Iowa State University.
