Yousu Yao was born in Jiangsu, China, in 1991. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2014, where he is pursing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering. He was a recipient of the Best Paper Award from 2017 IEEE Transportation Electrification Conference and Expo, Asia-Pacific (ITEC-AP 2017). His current research interests include wireless power transfer and wireless communication.
