Dr. Hitesh Sharma, presently, Assistant Professor of Physics, in Department of Physics, IKG Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, Punjab, India working in the field theoretical Nanoscience. He has written over 40 research papers on diverse topics on point defects in transition metal alloys, functionalized fullerenes, doped atomic clusters, hydrogen storage materials and dilute magnetic alloys in refereed journals. He has received DST’s Young Scientist award for research project on hydrogen storage. He has received research grants worth 50 Lakh from Department of Science and Technology, and CSIR, New Delhi.
