Dr. Alessandra Scano got the graduation with MSc in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology (2005), and the PhD in Chemical Science (2009) at University of Cagliari. In 2009, she moved to MSSI, University of Limerick as a Postdoc. From 2010 to 2013, she worked as a researcher at Asociacion de la Industria Navarra, Spain. Since 2014, she is back to University of Cagliari where she is also completing the MSc in Biology. Her research includes synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials for various applications. She is author and co-author of several papers in international journals, presenting her results at several international conferences.

Abstract

1. IntroductionHigh Energy Ball Milling (HEBM) is a top-down synthesis approach developed in the 70s as an industrial process to produce alloys and composites[1]. Recently, it has shown to be versatile and succesfully also for... [ view full abstract ]
