Programs for developing goals and targets in Early Intervention are needed, beyond Models that require accreditation and large training, specially in countries and areas where access to this training is reduced and expensive, and the conditions to ensure intensity is not possible.
From evidenced-based practice from Early Intervention Services and approaches from Early Intervention Models evidenced-based, a Curruculum of objectives was proposed, that offers professionals a wide framework to develop intervention programs centered on the main impairments on ASD. Downloadable materials and an informatic application was developed that presents professionals a tool for developing children programs and tracking easier.
This offers:
-A structured curriculum of objectives
-Free and accessible from the web site.
-Guide for assessment and establishing goals
-Downloading materials to use it easily
-Informatic program allows selecting objectives, following development and creating reports, reducing professionals time investment from planning.
-Big data allows collect results of development of each child, Services results and comparisons with other Services.
-Satisfaction of professionals has been high, describing the tool as a good guide and help for developing intervention and improve communication with families.
Using this program in several Early Intervention Services has helped to improve measurement and reduced time for professionals, and offers a guide to develop EI programs with tools for assessment and a complete guide of goals for intervention. Big Data allows using results for many different purposes.
New directions of this program could be including video tutorials or translating into other languages.
