Poppy Gibson

After over a decade of teaching and managing in a widevariety of primary schools throughout London, PoppyGibson is now embarking on an exciting new career asa Lecturer in Primary Education at the University ofGreenwich. She lives in Hertfordshire with her husband,two children, tortoise, dog and parrot. Poppy is in the sixthyear of her Doctorate in Education at Oxford BrookesUniversity; her thesis explores the impact of social mediaand online communication on young girls’ identityformations.

Suzie Dick

University of Glasgow / Arran High School

Suzie Dick has had a varied career balancing working as aninternational mountain leader with pursuing a career in educationalleadership all over the world, from Ethiopia to Mongoliaand Chile. She is a doctoral student at the University ofGlasgow and her research interests are in self directed learningand practitioner enquiries. Suzie currently lives on theIsle of Arran with her husband and two small children.
