Gordon Hutner

Gordon Hutner is Professor of American literature at the University of Illinois, having previously taught at UW-Madison and the University of Kentucky. He is the author or editor of many books and articles about American literature, culture, and criticism. Most recently, he has edited a second volume of Immigrant Voices (2015), which concentrates on autobiographies from 1965 to the present. He is the founder and editor of the journal American Literary History, now in its 30th year. He also edits a book series, Oxford Studies in American Literary History, for Oxford University Press.
