Molly Farrell

Ohio State University

Molly Farrell is Associate Professor of English at the Ohio State University and the author of Counting Bodies: Population in Colonial American Writing, published by Oxford University Press in 2016. She earned her PhD from Yale, and has published articles in American Literature and Early American Literature. She is currently at work on two projects, one that explores the impact of colonialism on the development of numeracy, and another that makes connections between the seventeenth-century Puritans and contemporary reproductive debates.
