Gillian Osborne is an instructor for Poetry in America courses at the Harvard Extension School. With Angela Hume, she is editor of Ecopoetics: Essays from the Field, a collection of critical essays on 20th and 21rst-century ecopoetics (forthcoming 2018), and her scholarship on nineteenth-century American authors will be featured in The New Dickinson and The New Melville, both forthcoming from Cambridge University Press. She received her PhD from UC-Berkeley in 2014, and was a postdoctoral fellow at the Harvard Center for the Environment from 2015-2017.
