Colin joined the University of Letbridge in 2015 after 10 years working with 3ESI, a Calgary-based software startup. Colin has a broad background in IT service management and project management, with experience in QA, Customer Support, Project Management and PMO previously. Colin's previous role saw him providing consulting PM and Business Planning support to some of the largest energy companies in the world, including ConocoPhillips, Chevron, BP, Shell, BG, and over 100 others. Colin has a proven track record of project execution success, having executed over 150 projects in the last 10 years with a successful closure rate over 90%. While at 3esi Colin founded their PMO and built it from the ground up, experience that prepared him well to do the same thing here at the University of Lethbridge.Colin holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation from the Project Management Institute, as well as having met all requirements for the IIBA's Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) designation. Colin is working with the rest of the PMO team and ITS leadership to advance the role and scope of PM and BA at the UofL and mature processes based on his past experience.
