Introduction to a class-based online writing environment: GWrit (Game of Writing)

Jinman Zhang is a Master student in University of Alberta majored in Humanities Computing. She is a research assistant in Prof. Geoffrey Rockwell's team. She did research on usability test, interface design and user habit analysis on GWrit.

Mark Mckella

University of Alberta

Mark McKellar is a Senior Research Computing Analyst for the Arts Resource Centre team at University of Alberta. He is one of the developers responsible for the implementation if the GWrit system. His main focus has been the development of the user interface, and implementing GWrit’s gamification features.

Grady Zielke

University of Alberta

Grady Zielke is a Master student in University of Alberta majored in Humanities Computing. He did research on usability testing and the impact of social interaction on students when writing in GWrit.
