This work shows that it is possible to model human –like behavior through the use of agent-based modelling. The models portray the storing and sharing of information and potential errors arising from information lost or “ignored” in the system. Through the use of concept maps knowledge of the model agents can be visualized and the situation awareness of the system can be analysed. The work shows there is potential for modelling other human-like behaviors such as attention, memory and decision-making.
