Christella Antoni is a Consultant Speech & Language Therapist specialising in voice work and the leading U.K expert in the field of transgender voice. Qualifying in 1995 from UCL, Christella worked for 15 years as a Lead Voice Clinician for Imperial NHS Trust at Charing Cross Hospital and West London Mental Health Trust at the Gender Identity Clinic. Currently she works in independent practice from her London treatment rooms and within the ENT department at Charing Cross Hospital. She also trains and supervises SLTs on a national level.Christella is the UK Representative for the WPATH and EPATH SLT voice committees. She authored ‘Gender Dysphonia and the Larynx’ in ‘Practical Laryngology’, (2015) and co-authored the SLT section of the WPATH’s SOC and accompanying journal article (2015).Christella has spoken widely at conferences and courses nationally and internationally as well as appearing in a range of UK television and radio broadcasts.
