Summary
The objective of this research is to provide a model for the management of solidarity economy enterprises (EES), for which a bibliographic review of different management models, which show how these models have evolved and as challenged to be performed the EES in their desire to meet their organizational objectives, considering authors such as Zabala Salazar, 2008; Beltran Sanz, 2002; Rojas Fajardo, 2003; Alvarez & Serrano Uribe, 2006; Ricardo Davila, 2002; Marcel Laflamme, 1990; Legislation on Solidarity Economy in Colombia, etc. The method used is deductive, inductive and analytical nature. That is, the theoretical framework of the solidarity economy is revised to build a particular management model for EES and from particular cases, we can determine the precise characteristics of the management model for EES and consider its application to all types of organization in order to comply with the generalization of the particularities of the proposed model. The unit of analysis for our study, are Cooperatives Medellin Metropolitan Area and for the case study, two (2) or three (3) Cooperative over 3,000 members were taken. The research was conducted by collecting data from secondary sources, surveys conducted by third parties and structured in-depth interviews of experts EES sector. The research is applied.
EES in Colombia, according to the law, are three: Cooperatives, Mutual Associations and Funds Employees. For our analysis we will only Cooperatives. As a result the frame of reference defined to present a model that could be applied in the EES, taking into account the different structural and cultural constraints that affect or interfere with the implementation of any model or strategy.
