Nanotechnologies for targeted delivery of nucleic acid

Elias Fattal

Elias Fattal is professor of Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Paris-Sud and the head of the Institut Galien Paris Sud. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Paris-Sud after which he visited UCSF for a post-doctoral position. He has made fundamental and applied contributions to the fields of drug delivery using nanotechnologies for targeted or local delivery of drugs and nucleic acids. He has authored 220 refereed articles, 10 patents and has received the PSWC Research Achievement Award and the controlled release society college of fellow’s award. He serves in the board of several journals.
