Abstract :
SWOT analysis is used to help decision makers in the industrial and service institutions, to take the appropriate decision when trying to improve performance within the organization. This analysis is used particularly in strategic planning. It is based on the identification of two main factories, each of which is divided into two factories, one of them cares about the internal factors, and the other interest in external factors. These factors are the strengths and weaknesses, as well as opportunities and threats.
In this paper, Misurata International Airport (MIA) has been selected, to be a case study is applied to the analysis of SWOT to try to find out the four main points in this analysis, so as to assist management in improving the performance and development of services in the long run.
This paper is a part of the doctoral thesis will be carried out by the researcher during the coming period entitled Efficiency Improvement Through Implementation of Strategic Quality Management.
