The research is focus on the fine reservoir description of Keshen Gas Field by using Full bore Formation Micro Imager logging data. This work shows that the imaging logging with high resolution can figure out variety geologic features, including the lithology, sedimentary structure, sedimentary microfaces and provide high precision data for the study of reservoir sedimentary. This makes imaging logging has the property of orientation which is an effective method for analysis of ancient flow direction and calculation of fracture parameter.
From the start of the data from Keshen 201 well and follow the principle of Core Scale Logging, the study concluded pattern of reservoir feature on imaging logging. By using this pattern, the sedimentary microfaces and types of sands bodies have been differentiated. By means of Geoframe Software, the research studied fine description of sedimentary features vertically. The result shows that the sediment material comes from north. Establish imaging log interpretation process and quantitative crack fracture parameters calculation method and concluded that medium-high dip fractures mainly developed in the well Keshen 201 well of Bashijiqike Formation. The strike of fractures are mainly in East-West direction due to the impact by compressive stress of Keshen No.2 structure anticline.
Key Words: imagine logging; sedimentary reservoir; ancient flow; fracture
