According to the field outcrop observation, the casting thin sections and scanning electron microscopy (sem), mercury intrusion analysis and other methods,Chang-6 reservior of the north part of Huaziping in Ansai has been comprehensive studied. The rock type in this area is fine feldspar sandstone.Secondary dissolution pores is the main type of reservoir porosity, followed by is primary intergranular pores. Average porosity in the study area is 11.61%,average permeability is 0.45×10-3μm2,so that the reservoir belongs to the low porosity, low permeability reservoir. The type of pore and throat mainly is fine pores and finer throats. The physical property of reservoir is controlled by sedimentary facies and diagenesis.Sedimentary facies control sand-body distribution and sand bodies affect porosity and permeability of reservoir. Diagenesis controls the physical properties of reservoir.Chang-6 reservoir in the study area is mainly at the A step in mesogenetic stage. The results in the study area have provided geological basis for the next step exploration and development.
