In this event we seek to expand the AWPA network by informing attendees of its aims and initiatives and building connections between academic women in PA, both senior and junior. AWPA is a network of academic women in public administration seeking to address gender and diversity issues in the field.
We briefly present some research from across the world about gender and diversity issues in our field and then we collectively as a group search for actions to improve diversity in Public Administration research in Europe and abroad. The emphasis will be on What can each of us do?
Please look at the AWPA website, add your information to the directory, think about getting involved and how the network might help you in your career.
