Many psychotherapists do psychotherapy about patient's minds. The author finds many descriptions about the function of mind in psychotherapy. But descriptions about mind itself are not clear. Understanding of mind will help us to do psychotherapy. In Eastern view and trainning, the original nature of mind has no place the mind stay. So if we have enough and thorough acceptance of the fact, it will cure our sufferings including psychotic sufferings. Therefore he introduces descriptions about mind, which are described in the eastern tao oriented literatures, by psychotherapeutic view. He thinks normal persons and psycotic persons have same emotional sufferings.
In Confucianism, the mind has three characteristics of emptiness, knowing, and ethereality. And the human mind has tow components of one received from heaven and the other influenced by human body. So we have God's mind and unholy human mind, but both are not separated but one. Only sometimes God's mind appears, and sometimes unholy human mind operates. He introduces the natures of mind and methods to master unholy human mind and to protect and culture God's mind. Ren(仁), Yi(義), Li(禮), Zhi(智), Xin(信), 7 emotons(情)and Kyung(敬), etc are will be introdeced on psychotherapeutic view.
In Buddhism, through meditation, one experiences a state of mind which any thought or feelings are not coming out, like nothingness or emptiness. It is called Kong(空). This Kong is original nature of mind. It has no place the mind stay. The Psychotic symptoms are also not real which can be realized by the view of Kong.
