This paper focuses on how reproductive justice organizations that incorporate intersectionality and human rights engage in “culture shift” work. Reproductive justice activists recruit vulnerable subjects—women, queers, the undocumented, and/or youth—for purposes of accessing rights, finding a sense of belonging, and acknowledging the strengths and resiliency in our communities.
