Nanoparticles obtained via solid state dewetting of silver thin film
Iryna Gozhyk
Surface du Verre et Interfaces, UMR 125 CNRS/Saint-Gobain Recherche
In 2009 Iryna obtained a Masters degree in Applied Physics at Taras Shevchenko National University in her home city of Kyiv (Ukraine). In 2012 she received a PhD degree from ENS de Cachan (France) for the work on organic micro-lasers. Then she worked as a post-doc at LPN and IOGS (France) on design and thermal management of optically pumped semiconductor lasers. Since 2014 she is a permanent researcher at "Surface de Verre et Interfaces", joint unit between CNRS/ Saint-Gobain, were she works on optical properties of micro- and nano- structured media.
Abstract
Introduction Ordered metallic nano-particles can exhibit unique properties of light scattering, confinement and absorption, prominent for a vast number of applications (energy harvesting, bio-sensing, surface enhanced Raman... [ view full abstract ]
