Paolo Traina, born in Palermo (Italy) in 1978, is research scientist at the Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica (INRIM) of Turin. He has 30 ISI publications with more than 200 citation (source: SCOPUS). His main interests concern quantum information, the foundations of quantum mechanics, quantum communication, single-photon metrology, single-photon confocal microscopy  and quantum interferometry.

Abstract

Color centres in diamond represent a very promising system for realizing bright, stable, on demand single-photon sources (SPS) but not only: they are attracting an ever-growing interest in quantum optics, quantum information... [ view full abstract ]
