Organization of Wildlife Planners
Ann works for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources as the Wildlife Program Support Supervisor. She's been with the Department for 15 years and earlier worked 6 years with the Michigan Department of State Police. She has a MPA (Master of Public Administration) and a BA from the University of Michigan. Ann is responsible for all administrative programs including Budget, Personnel, Accounting, Asset Management, Federal Aid, Technology, and Training. For Michigan State Police, she worked in their Central Budget Office and as the Fiscal Manager for the State Police Training Academy. She was the recipient of the 2009 Organization of Wildlife Planners, Paul C. Weikel Memorial Award for outstanding or distinctive contributions to improve agency management and was the Secretary and is current President for the Organization of Wildlife Planners. Ann is also active with the WAFWA/CBMA Annual Conference serving as Chair of the Budget/Admin Panel for 2016 and 2017.
