This organized session from the Institute for Human-Animal Connection at the University of Denver aims to present the research and practice agenda within our Institute's Conservation Social Work domain of research, teaching, practice and advocacy. Our first presenter, Philip Tedeschi will share his work in Confronting our relational poverty by embracing our relationship with other animals. Next, Kristen Greenwald will share her research findings with children ages 8-10 and their thoughts on wildlife and nature. Kristen Nelson will then share her research entitled Living with prairie dogs; understanding emotive forces for co-existence readiness. Lastly, Sarah Bexell will end this session with her presentation entitled Human population growth and wildlife conservation within the One Health paradigm.
